Q. What are rectangular flying banners best used for?
A. Rectangular flying banners are ideal for storefronts, trade shows, event entrances, club grounds and business promotions. Their straight-sided shape provides generous space for logos, promotional messages, sponsor names and other detailed artwork.
Q. How is a rectangular flag different from a feather or teardrop flag?
A. A rectangular flag provides a broader, straighter print area that works well for text-heavy designs and logos requiring more horizontal space. Feather flags have a taller flowing profile, while teardrop flags offer a more compact curved shape.
Q. Are rectangular flags easy to assemble?
A. Yes. The lightweight flagpole sections connect without tools, and the printed banner fits onto the pole before the selected base is attached. Clear instructions and a padded carry bag are included for convenient setup, transport and storage.
Q. Can I customise a rectangular flag for my business?
A. Yes. You can add your logo, brand colours, promotional message or campaign artwork. Select your preferred flag size, pole size, base type and single- or double-sided printing option when ordering.
Q. Can rectangular flags be printed on both sides?
A. Yes. Single- and double-sided graphic options are available. Choose double-sided printing when your branding needs to be displayed clearly to customers approaching from two directions.
Q. What materials are used to make the rectangular flags?
A. The flag is printed on 100% polyester and uses a high-strength fibreglass pole when selected. The listed product weight is approximately 4kg per unit, although the final weight may depend on the chosen configuration and base.
Q. How do I supply artwork for my custom rectangular flag?
A. Upload your artwork as a PDF or ZIP file during the ordering process. You can also download the artwork template or select a free 15-minute design consultation if you need help preparing your graphics.
Q. How long does a custom rectangular flag take to produce?
A. Production is estimated at 5–7 working days after your artwork has been confirmed. Delivery time depends on your New Zealand location, so contact Flags Online before ordering if you need the flag for a fixed event date.
Q. What warranty comes with a rectangular flag?
A. Printed graphics are covered for up to two years, subject to applicable conditions. Flagpoles include a five-year warranty. Contact Flags Online if you need clarification about the coverage for your selected configuration.
